Guitar Player magazine’s Best New Talent and Australia’s Got Talent winner Joe Robinson is set to perform at MTSU’s James Union Building at 7 pm on Wednesday, March 28th in support of his third album, Let Me Introduce You. Robinson previously has released two acoustic instrumental CDs, but this is his first with vocals and electric guitar. The CD features thirteen songs, all written or co-written by Robinson. It was recorded in Nashville and Detroit, MI and produced by Grammy-winning producer Frank Rodgers, with co-production by Robinson and vocal production by Herschel Boone.
Known for their energetic and dynamic live performances, Murfreesboro based hip-hop/alternative group Call It Dope! will open for Robinson.
Robinson recently celebrated the release performing to a full house at Nashville’s 12th and Porter. In Mid-March he will play two dates at the Austin, TX based RedGorrilla Music Festival. Then following his MTSU performance, Robinson will embark on a headlining European tour beginning in April with stops in Germany, Italy, France and more.
