Repeal of Voter Photo ID Law Fails in TN

An effort to repeal Tennessee's voter photo ID law has failed in the Senate. The measure was sponsored by Democratic Senator Lowe Finney. The bill failed 3-6 in the Senate State and Local Government Committee on Tuesday.

The current law in Tennessee requires voter's to show a photo ID prior to casting a vote.
