A lot of beer and pizza was stolen from the Kroger Store on S. Church Street. A cashier at the store told officers that she witnessed a woman push a shopping cart full of groceries out the front door without paying for the merchandise. Once confronted in the parking lot, the suspect ran to an awaiting car and fled the scene before police arrived.  The store was able to recover the groceries, but the woman was not caught.
