Almost 80 people came out for the annual event, held Friday night at the Bradley Academy Museum, and among this year's honorees were McGowan's own sons Willie Jr. and J.R., who are honored to carry on their father's legacy.

Norm Hill, President of the Cracker Barrel Foundation, the popular restaurant chain's philanthropic organization, was also honored, and showed his appreciation for the great sense of community in the Middle Tennessee area.
