2012 Reagan Day Dinner Announced for April 21

The Republican Party of Rutherford County welcomes Congressman Stephen Fincher, 8th District of Tennessee, as the keynote speaker at the 2012 Reagan Day Dinner. Wednesday is the last day tickets can be purchased. Also in attendance will be Congressman Scott DeJarlais as well as Rutherford County’s State Legislative delegation, which includes Senator Bill Ketron, Senator Jim Tracy, Representative Joe Carr, Representative Rick Womick and Representative Mike Sparks. The event will be held on Saturday, April 21st at 6:30 p.m. at Park Place Event Center, 521B Old Salem, Murfreesboro, TN. Tickets are $50 per person and $500 per table.  Attendees are encouraged to wear Polished Boots & Pearls.

Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010, Representative Fincher serves in the House Committee on Financial Services, the Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee, and the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee. Rep Fincher is a managing partner in Fincher Farms, a seventh generation West Tennessee based agribusiness and is a Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and a member of Ducks Unlimited.

The event special guest is the “Travelin Hunter”, Tony Smotherman. There will also be a silent auction to benefit the Rutherford County GOP. The same night, beginning at 9 p.m., there will a party for the College and Young Republicans with live music. Tickets for this event are $10 per person.
