Judy Pugh of Murfreesboro , wife of Sheriff Deputy Ronnie Pugh, is raising funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through a walk at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28 at Gateway Island on West College St .

Judy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in May 2011.

Contributions raised at the walk are used to pay for medical equipment and medicine for MS patients and to fund research in finding a cure.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the walk starting at 10:30 a.m. Walkers may register at http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/Judy.Pugh.

Donations will help Judy and others with MS.
