You never know when an illness might change your life. That's why a free panel presentation at the Center for the Arts in uptown Murfreesboro at 7:00 o'clock this coming Tuesday night (4/24/12) is a must attend for everyone.
What are your wishes for life support, burial desires--anything that determines how you wish medical help to operate when unknown conditions challenge. Wrecks, unexpected illnesses, catastrophies like tornadoes, floods and fires can create a need for answers. Those touchy issues will be covered at Tuesday's evening event with Middle Tennessee Medical Center's Director of Palliative Medicine Dr. Joe Nunnery, Attorney John Blankenship, MTMC Chaplain Jeff Fryer, and Teresa Quance with Alive Hospice will cover legal and ethical issues about which everyone needs to consider and prepare. WGNS' Bart Walker will serve as the moderator for the evening.
In addition to the presentations, these experts will be available to answer your questions as well. It's all free, but there is limited seating in the auditorium. Therefore, it's advised that you contact Faye Northcutt-Knox and let her know you wish to attend. Her phone number is 615-896-4663.
