A local resident in need of cancer related surgery is struggling to find the funds needed to cover the cost. Rosie Cantrell apparently has throat cancer, but no insurance to cover medical costs. Edna Parker, Cantrell’s niece, has opened a benefit account at Regions Bank under her name (Edna Parker) to accept donations from the community. Currently, Cantrell has wait to have several test done to see if the cancer has spread because she does not have the money to pay for the test to be conducted. Again, the special account that has been set up for Rosie Cantrell  is at any Regions Bank in Murfreesboro and is under the name "Edna Parker."  If you want to contact the family, you can call 886-0655.
