A 25-year old LaVergne man has been indicted on murder charges. Terrell Fields allegedly shot and killed 18-year old Avery Hernandez in 2011. The shooting occurred in front of a Nashboro Village apartment in Nashville. Police say that Hernandez was found slumped over the steering wheel of his Mercury Marquis at 1:30 in the morning. Fields is being held under a $750-thousand bond.
