Some good news for Rutherford County employees and residents… Mayor Ernest Burgess has proposed a $1.6-million pay raise for county employees. The Mayor believes the pay raise can be achieved without raising property taxes to cover the added cost. The Mayor made the announcement on Monday night before the County Commission’s Steering, Legislative & Governmental Committee.
