Southern Community Bank held their grand opening and ribbon cutting on Monday. Officials from the bank along with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce were on hand. Bank President Bill Yoder and Branch Manager Beverly Barker were among those who welcomed the guests to the bank. 

Yoder, who is President and CEO, says they've already had a presence in the Murfreesboro area with the bank’s loan production office led by banking veteran, Ben Weatherford. The bank branch allows them to expand further here in Murfreesboro. Southern Community Bank is on Old Fort Parkway, next to the Doubletree Hotel.
