After 23 years at Middle Tennessee State University, the Department of Art’s Barry Buxkamper is calling it QUITS!

In celebration of this monumental and life-changing event, an evening of toasting and roasting is scheduled for him at his very own B.B.Q.

Known for his instruction in graphic design and illustration as well as a quick wit and propensity for calling it like it is the “Barry Buxkamper calls it Quits” BBQ promises to be an enjoyable evening of entertainment and remembrance.

The BBQ is scheduled for Saturday night, June 2nd, from 6:00 to 9:00 in the Tom Jackson Hall at MTSU. Tickets are $25 each and include dinner, music with Don Coyote's band, and the opportunity to share in favorite Barry stories as he is sent off into retirement. You don't want to miss out on this celebration—plus, all proceeds go towards the Graphic Design Scholarship.
