Three individuals accused of working together to steal a purse have been arrested on numerous charges. The theft occurred at the Kroger store on Memorial Boulevard. Apparently, one of the three suspects grabbed the victim’s purse from her cart and ran out of the store. They then fled the scene. The car was later found at a home on Byrd Avenue in Murfreesboro. The arresting officer reported that there was an odd odor in the air when he arrived. After going to the rear of the home, it was discovered that the victim’s purse was burning on the grill. As a result, a tampering with evidence charge was filed in addition to the theft charges. The three amigo’s will appear in court on June 27th.
