Former Rutherford County Wheel Tax Officer Bart Smith has passed away. Smith suffered from leukemia. The Blackman resident was diagnosed with leukemia shortly after he retired from the Sheriff’s Office in 2011.
Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro are in charge of arraignments.
