When weather disaster strikes, many people want to help but don't know how. Following the Good Friday tornadoes in 2009 and the May 2010 flood, the Long Term Disaster Recovery Organization of Rutherford and Cannon Counties was formed.

The group will have their annual organizational meeting this Thursday at 10am at the United Way offices on Memorial Boulevard. Anyone interested in heping with relief can get involved. The purpose of this organization is to be there every step along the way in disaster recovery to help victims rebuild their lives.

Again, the annual organizational meeting of the Long Term Disaster Recovery Organization of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is this Thursday. The meeting will be held at 10am at the United Way offices on Memorial Boulevard, in the First Bank building.
