The American Red Cross Heart of Tennessee Chapter is holding a blood drive on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Murfreesboro. The Red Cross is critically low on blood supplies and blood bank reserves have reached emergency levels. The Red Cross in Middle Tennessee has received 50,000 fewer donations then expected in June. The Red Cross office is on Memorial Boulevard next to Ruby Tuesday. If you are at least 17-years of age, weigh a minimum of 110-pounds, and in good health, you are encouraged to give the GIFT OF LIFE.
