Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna at 1000 Espy Drive, will be the site of this summer’s annual Rutherford County Republican Party picnic. Shelter B, Saturday, July 21 from 10am to 1pm to be exact. Southern style BBQ, music, and politicking will be the fare for day. Every County, State and Federal Republican Candidate for the August 2nd election has been invited to address the crowd. Past picnics, especially during election years, have proven to be quite the attraction, so everyone is encouraged to come early and stay late for a day of fun and fellowship.

“The summer picnic was one of my first experiences with the Rutherford County Republican Party several years ago. I made several long-term friends that day and it’s an event my family enjoys every year—it’s like a homecoming, and we want everyone to come out and learn about the GOP in this critical election year”, stated Rutherford County Republican Party Chairman, Austin Maxwell.
