A man on a bike allegedly robbed a pedestrian at gun point on Sunday in Murfreesboro. The robbery occurred as the 21-year old victim walked down Mercury Boulevard at 1 in the morning. The suspect reportedly stole the victim’s headphones, Ipod, cellphone and wallet.

Minutes after the robbery, police found the suspect riding his bike in the area and made an arrest. 19-Year old Yaki Shea Sayles was charged with evading arrest and aggravated robbery. The 19-year old man told police that he was currently unemployed. He was taken to the local jail and booked under a $9,000 bond.

The victim was not injured in the hold up.
