The national healthy lifestyles publication, Spry, listed Murfreesboro's "Saturday Marketplace" number three in the top seven across the nation. 

Main Street Murfreesboro/Rutherford County Executive Director Kathleen Herzog told WGNS News, "The selection was based not only on the high quality of goods being sold, but a mix of the ambiance of the historic courthouse and town square, along with the hometown fellowship being enjoyed by everyone who attends".

The "Saturday Marketplace" has a limited number of 57 vendors, and Herzog noted there is a waiting list. It continues each Saturday morning from 8:00 until noon now through October.
