Stones River Manor has gone GREEN. Stones River Manor is a senior assisted living and nursing home in Murfreesboro and was recently awarded a gold level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification. The manor has recently seen the construction of multiple independent living apartments on their campus along Haynes Drive near Memorial Boulevard. The structure is 29 percent more energy-efficient than current code requirements, according to officials at the manor.

The growth does not stop with the new apartments. The senior living facility is in the process of building a senior walking trail that will be open to all seniors in the area. The manor is also adding a new Alzheimer’s center.
