We have an update on that accident involving a truck on Tuesday morning in Smyrna. Apparently, two teens were in the truck and speed is being blamed as a factor in the crash that sent a truck into a small creek near Stewarts Creek Elementary School.

The wreck occurred at 5 in the morning. Both the 17-year old driver and 16-year old passenger were flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center by way of LifeFlight helicopter after being freed from the crashed truck.

The wreck is being investigated by the Smyrna Police Department.
