Three men between the ages of 20 and 21 were arrested after allegedly shoplifting from the Kroger store on Middle Tennessee Boulevard. The three suspects evidently put up a fight when they were approached by a police officer. The officer even had his watch broken in the scuffle. The officer also had his cell phone stolen when the three culprits reportedly fled the scene.

Antonio D. Shannon, Jonathan L. Lewis and Marcus E. Sharp were later apprehended at an apartment complex on Bradyville Pike near the Kroger store.
