A hold for Immigration charge is keeping one Mexican born woman in custody at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. Araceli Perez Alba was pulled over on Broad Street and cited for driving without a valid license. When police ran a warrants check on Alba, it was revealed that she was wanted for being a fugitive from immigration.  

The 27-year old woman will face the driving without a license charge in general sessions court on August 29. The court case for the hold for Immigration charge will be determined at a later date.
