The car overturned at a tree line on the Manchester Highway. Reports indicate a woman driving a grey Toyota failed to stop for a Wilson County Drug Enforcement Officer after the officer attempted to serve a warrant on the suspect. When the officer attempted to serve the warrant, the suspect tried to elude him and a chase ensued.

Prior to the pursuit, the female driver actually dragged the officer through a parking lot with her car.

During the chase, speeds reached up to 100 miles per hour. The driver wrecked once on 840 close to the county line but continued to elude authorities. She then wrecked a second time and the car flipped at the intersection of Joe B. Jackson Parkway and Manchester Highway just before 11:30am after attempting to turn right.
