The Robert E. Musto Tennessee Insurance Hall of Fame inducted three new membersduring an Aug. 2 ceremony at Embassy Suites Hotel in Murfreesboro.
The 2012 inductees included Ray Thomas, State Farm Insurance Co.; Christie Reeves, Arthur J. Gallegher & Co.; and George E. Garner, State Farm Insurance Co.
The Insurance Hall of Fame was created on the MTSU campus in 1999. The hall honors those entrepreneurs who created insurance companies, and those agents and companyemployees who made a difference in their companies and their communities, who significantly impacted the lives of many people and who advanced the role of insurance in society.
The hall is located on the west wall of the first floor south lobby of the Business andAerospace Building at MTSU. From 1999 to 2011, 48 people have been inducted into the hall.
