The start of the 2012-13 fall semester and academic year for MTSU is fast approaching. The first official day of classes, as set by the Tennessee Board of Regents, is Saturday, Aug. 25. Classes will be in full swing on Monday, Aug. 27. 

As this coming week (Aug. 20-26) progresses, traffic around campus steadily will increase as some students and faculty, who have been away for the summer, return. Most new freshmen will arrive Friday and Saturday, Aug. 24-25.
