Advance Financial Robbed at Gunpoint - UPDATE: Names of Arrested Individuals Released

Advance Financial on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro was robbed at gunpoint on Friday night. An employee of the business told police that as he was locking the front door he was approached by two black males wearing all black clothing with bandanna’s covering their faces. The men forced the employee back into the business and made him open the store safe. The two culprits grabbed the money out of the safe and fled the scene.

A witness told officers she spotted the two men jump into a car in the rear of the business. The witness followed the subjects all the way to Robert Rose Boulevard, before losing sight of their car.

Police later caught up with the two suspects and made an arrest. Apprehended and charged with aggravated robbery were 25-year old Eddie Lee Benton Jr., from Springfield, TN, 27-year old Marcus Anthony Robey, from Cross Plains, TN and a third individual by the name of Eddie Benton, Jr. from Springfield, TN.
