Two bail bondsmen got quite the scare on Wednesday. Reports indicate that bondsmen from McAdoo Bonding Company and Climer Bonding Company spotted a 39-year old male who was wanted for failing to appear in court. The bondsmen saw the suspect outside of his apartment complex. When the culprit spotted the bondsmen, he ran to his apartment. Once inside, the Murfreesboro man stabbed himself in the chest with a knife and cut his wrist. The man told one of the bondsman that he “wanted to just end it all.” The injuries were so severe that he had to be flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Evidently the stab wound to his chest was directly next to his heart. According to the most recent reports from the hospital, the man is expected to recover. His arrest for failing to appear in court is still pending.
