The Rutherford County Correctional Work Center has spent the past year and a half working towards accreditation. The local work house is the only American Correctional Association accredited work center in our state. Work center superintendent Bernard Salandy explains the accreditation process.

The American Correctional Association also looks at the number of lawsuits filed against each facility. Under Salandy’s watch, no lawsuits have been reported.
