One motorcycle got away, a second caught… Police say they spotted  two motorcycles driving down East Northfield Boulevard at a high rate of speed. The officer who saw the two bikes pulled in behind them and that was when the two men fled from the pursuing officer.

After the officer witnessed the motorcyclist run a red light and almost cause an accident, he called off the chase. Minutes later, one of the riders flew past him, waiving as he continued down the road. That was when a second officer got involved and was able to convince Myron David Fleming to pull over. According to the official police report, Fleming was fleeing from police because he said he was scared. The second motorcyclist was not caught.

Fleming was charged with felony evading by a motor vehicle and served a warrant from Georgia. The warrant was for a burglary which previously took place.
