View the new jail kitchen during a tour of the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and Adult Detention Center during an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 940 New Salem Highway .

Citizens may tour the jail pods, communications dispatch center and administrative offices during the open house. Sheriff Robert Arnold will answer questions from citizens.

The event is free. Citizens who wish to take the tour may gather at the Visitation Lobby near the fence. The tour will last about 30 minutes.
