GLANCE: COVID-19 in Rutherford County Last Week

We have some new numbers in Rutherford County's battle against COVID-19. There are 390 new active cases in the last week, 625 additional total cases.

In the numbers released daily by the Tennessee Department of Health, as of Sunday (July 5), there are 2,987 total cases in Rutherford County. That's up from 2,362 last Sunday. The number of active cases grew from 1,258 a week ago to 1,648 as of Sunday.

The recovery rate stands at 43.7% of the total cases. There were eight new hospitalizations from June 29th to July 5th. There have been 35 coronavirus deaths here with the last occuring July 1st.
