Scroggins said that she is disabled and has been homeless since her daughters death, which was over 7 years ago.

  

She said her new goal is to let more people know about the services provided by the Murfreesboro Cold Patrol, which is a non-profit based in Rutherford County. The organization is "working to end the revolving door of homelessness through outreach, advocacy, and resource support."
