MTSU Trustees Meet August 18

(MURFREESBORO)  The Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.  They are open to the public. Due to COVID-19 precautions, public access to the meeting will only be available via livestream. Go to www.mtsu.edu/boardoftrustees and locate the appropriate meeting under the “Meetings” dropdown.

  • Audit and Compliance Committee: 11 a.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes and the annual Audit and Consulting Services report; recommendations concerning a new policy and rule, and risk assessments; and, information concerning compliance and enterprise risk management updates.
  • Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Athletics Committee: 1 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; recommendations concerning new academic degree programs, new academic degree under consideration, and The Chicago Statement; and, information on SACSCOC Fifth-Year Interim Report, Data Science Initiative, and Athletics.
  • Finance and Personnel Committee: 2 p.m. Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, information concerning fiscal year 2019-20 update, Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, fiscal year 2020-21 budget update and classified employee grievance annual report.

Committee meeting times are approximate; if one meeting finishes early, the following committee meeting may begin earlier than noted.
