(SMYRNA, TN)  There was a fatal crash shortly 6:00 o'clock Sunday morning (9/6/2020) in the 700 block of Nissan Drive in Smyrna.

When officers arrived, they learned that a Nissan Quest had collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The driver of the Nissan was 41-year old Victor Sebastian of Shelbyville. Paramedics from Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Driver of the pickup was 42-year old James Bevill of Smyrna.

The preliminary investigation shows that Sebastian was travelling northbound on Nissan Drive and turned into oncoming traffic.  The pickup truck was travelling southbound on Nissan Drive.

Smyrna Police continue to investigate this accident. Their findings will be presented to the Rutherford County District Attorney at a later date.
