"Libraries are a cornerstone in our communities, providing children and people of all ages with knowledge and stories to stimulate their minds and fuel their imaginations," the lawmakers said in a joint statement.   "This grant will help in our efforts to make technological improvements that will benefit Rutherford County Library visitors for years to come."

"Libraries are an important place for our communities to learn and grow together," said Secretary of State Tre Hargett. "Libraries provide access to technology, something many of us take for granted. I'm proud of the role the Tennessee Library and Archives plays in increasing access to technology and education across our great state."
