(MURFREESBORO) A dump truck rolled over shortly after 4:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon (9/23/2020) on East Jefferson Pike at River Walk. The load of dirt was spread across the roadway and much of the large vehicle blocked the roadway.
Rutherford County Fire Rescue Chief Larry Farley told NewsRadio WGNS . . .
Chief Farley noted that the roadway was closed while T-DOT made certained the damaged pavement was repaired and that all of the red clay dirt was washed away. It was reopened around 7:30PM.
He said the the dump truck driver was not injured.
This is on the section of Jefferson Pike that is about one-mile east of the entrance to Middle Point Landfill.
