(MURFREESBORO)  Shortly before 11:30 Sunday night (9/27/2020), Murfreesboro Police answered a "shooting call" to Gunnerson Avenue. That's just off Greenland Drive and a block from MTSU. 

Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services rushed the male victim to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. 

Murfreesboro PIO Larry Flowers told WGNS that at this time no suspect information is available and that investigators need any information that the public may have heard or seen.
