La Vergne Police and Fire Save Man's Life

(La Vergne, TN)  Around 6:00 o'clock Sunday (10/25/2020) morning La Vergne police answered a "vehicle rollover" call on the eastbound lane (toward Mufreesboro) of I-24. and fire personnel are credited with saving a man's life early this morning following a rollover incident on the interstate.

The vehicle received major damage, but when they arrive on-the-scen the driver had fled. Officers and troopers were very concerned, because they observed a large amoubnt blood.

They knew the person had sustained serious injury and they began to search the area.  on the scene to assume the driver was seriously injured and began searching for him.

Within a half hour La Vergne Police brought their K-9 and the driver was located on top of a bluff next to the interstate. The driver was severely injured.

La Vergne Fire Rescue was called in and used a ladder truck to get the driver off the bluff so he could be evaluated by paramedics from Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services. The driver was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
