(MURFREESBORO)  Toot’s Good Food & Fun is Murfreesboro bred, based, and beloved by those who have patronized the family restaurant for 35-years.Today (Thursday, 10/28/2020) the Hays’ family celebrates this milestone.

Wade Hays said, “Many of the prices have been rolled back and especially the 860 N.W. Broad location, the original Toot’s, will be packed with memories.

He continued, “Thanks to all of our wonderful and loyal customers that have supported Toot’s and kept us going for 35 years! Also, Thanks to all of our great employees and all of our local partners and vendors, like WGNS, that have helped us be and stay successful here in Rutherford County!”

Hays concluded, “We have been so blessed to be  part of  Rutherford County Tennessee over the last 35 years and have been able to grow with our Community… Thank You!”

Renowned restaurateur Jim Demos created the concept that is now Toot’s. In fact, the first location was a former breakfast restaurant on the corner of Broad and Lokey. The barn-shaped building was for sale . . .

That was Wade Hays.

For those who have been around for a while, Toot’s on Broad had several unique animals that greeted you when walking in.

Wade Hays encourages the public to send WGNS the names of persons who volunteer at area non-profits. That’s the way he is and it shows in how Toot’s is operated.

After 35-years, this family business has not slowed down a second in caring for the people of this community.
