(MURFREESBORO)  On Wednesday afternoon (11/18/2020), motorists who were traveling near the intersection of S. Rutherford and Mercury Boulevards hit congested traffic. It was the result of a two vehicle collision that occured at 3:16PM. 

Murfreesboro Police Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS, "The traffic report shows that a northbound pickup attempted to make a turn onto Mercury Boulevard and collided into the side of a Nissan Altima that was traveling southbound on Rutherford."

A man and his two young children were in the Ford F-150 pickup, and an individual male was driving the Nissan. 

There were no injuries, but the Nissan appeared to have the most damage and the airbags deployed.
