(MURFREESBORO) On Sunday (11/22/2020) evening an SUV was traveling along Florence Road when it wrecked, rolled and came to a stop in a field. When first responders arrived on-the-scene the person inside the vehicle had already managed to get out. 

About that time, flames ignited in the engine compartment. Within a short period of time, the entire vehicle exploded in flames. 

Crews from Rutherford County Fire Rescue along with Almaville Volunteer Fire Department quickly extinguished the flames, before they spread to the dry grass in the field. 

The Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services stabalized the injured person and transported them to the ER with minor injuries.
