Number one Oakland defeats number two Maryville 49-7 in the 6A semifinals to punch their ticket to the state title game, where they'll battle Brentwood.

The Patriots defense dominated the game, holding the Rebels to 67-total first half yards while the offense put up three scores. This 16-yard run by running back Antonio Patterson put them up 21-0 just before the half:

Patterson had 9-carries for 88-yards and three touchdowns. Running back Jordan James had 25-carries for 163-yards and three TD's. This one to give Oakland a 28-0 lead in the third quarter:

With another score early in the fourth, the clock began to run. Maryville did score midway through the final quarter on a long run by Parker McGill after the Patriots subbed on defense. But Oakland's Khalil James and Jahari Newman were able to score as well for the 49-7 final.

Patriot quarterback Ian Schlacter was 6-of-7 passing for 89-yards and their defense was led by Ethan McLaurin, Theron Gaines and A.J. Bullard.
