Property taxes are due on February 28th in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County.

The Rutherford County Trustee's Office, where property taxes are paid, has announced that they will be open on New Year's Eve. Their hours will be from 8 in the morning through 4:30, Monday afternoon. The office in the county courthouse will then be closed on Tuesday, New Year's Day. 

2012 County Property Taxes are due by February 28th, 2013 without penalty and interest.
