Dr. Rudd explains
Dr. Dan Rudd was on WGNS and explained . . .
The local physician is impressed with the quality of both of the vaccinations that have been approved by the FDA . . .
Dr. Rudd recommends wearing a mask, saying that it's our best protection until we get a vaccination. He explained that a mask is 62 per cent effective as compared to the vaccination's 90+ per cent effectiveness. Since most persons are not eligible for the vaccination at this time, he encourages everyone to wear your mask more than ever before.
Dr. Rudd also suggests:
- nasal irrigation AM and PM reduces germs in body (example: neti pot)
- getting enough sleep helps reduce risks of getting COVID-19
- wear a mask, social distance and wash your hands frequently--all extremely important
- social distancing
- avoid large crowds
