Single Mother of Three Receives Help from Local Police Officer and the Community

A local police officer helped to ensure a single mother of three had a great Christmas this year. Officer Jacob Lamb found out about the mother while at a  fast-food restaurant in Murfreesboro…



As it turned out, other employees were already trying to figure out how they were going to help the mother…



Seeing the needs of those around him while working in law enforcement was the motivating factor that led Lamb to start “Crime Free MT,”  a non-profit geared towards helping others. In this case, helping the single mother of two teenage sons and a daughter get into a new apartment just one day before Christmas.



Lamb knew that more help would be needed… 



Part of the gift in helping others is including others to play a role in the contribution…



A few of the things that were purchased or donated included…



The help didn’t stop with the mother who moved into a new apartment…



Lamb teamed up with a sorority and fraternity at MTSU to Christmas shop for multiple families unable to buy gifts for their children.

Lamb has big dreams for the organization he started…
