(MURFREESBORO)  Around 9:00 o'clock New Years' evening, Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue was called to a home fire at 3203 Dupree Lane.

Engine 9 was the first on the scene, and firefighters reported smoke showing.

Crews entered the home and the fire was extinguished quickly.

No injuries were reported.

The Fire Marshal's Office is conducting a routine investigation as to what started the blaze.
