(MURFREESBORO)  Few new years have been as eagerly awaited as 2021, and cutie Scarlett Renee Comer came-into Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital with the sunrise at 6:53 New Years morning (1/1/2021).

The Heart of Tennessee's first 2021 baby is 19 1/2 inches long and tops the scales at 7 pounds and 7 ounces.

Scarlett is the pride and joy of Krissy and Bruce from Mt. Juliet.

Welcome Scarlett Renee Comer

In addition, the Murfreesboro hospital has expanded its commitment to meeting the needs of Middle Tennessee’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit babies with the creation of a “milk depot,” allowing for safe processing of donor breast milk.
