Murfreesboro Police are in search of the identities of five individuals who could be part of a large theft ring. Detectives released information to the media that the five subjects are possibly targeting stores in Murfreesboro and surrounding cities and counties.

On December 6, 2020, two groups of people, including two males and three females, entered the Lowe’s on Old Fort Parkway and began loading a total of  nine electric scooters into shopping carts. The group then ran out of the store without paying.

Authorities say the individuals loaded the items into two different vehicles; one appears to be a white Nissan Altima and the other was a silver four door sedan, unknown make and model.
