Smyrna Police Need Your Help

(SMYRNA TN) Police in Smyrna continue to look for Lamont Thompson, and are asking for the public's help in locating this person of interest. Officials say that Thompson has active warrants for Aggravated Domestic Assault, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Felony, and Tampering with Evidence.

On January 26, 2021, he reportedly had an argument with his girlfriend. Allegedly, the argument escalated and he fired shots at his girlfriend in the Rutherford County jurisdiction.

Smyrna Police noted that the argument continued at Mr. Thompson’s residence in the 7000 block of Castle Drive Smyrna where he is said to have fired shots at his girlfriend and fled the scene.
